"MOTH POET HOTEL - a tribute to Mott The Hoople" Japan CD

Heatwave were one of seven Japanese bands who recorded Mott The Hoople songs for this project, compiled by Morgan Fisher. All the artists did "Dudes" together, Brian May supplied a track as well, and Morgan contributed a newly written song which also became the album title. More info

Buffalo Tom frontman Bill Janovitz has a nice side project going, recording one cover version every week in support of charity. His version of "Ballad Of Mott" was released in April 2009. He plays all the instruments himself and recorded, mixed and produced it in his home studio in Lexington. More info
