[07 March 2004] The Angel Air edition of "Life" is now available, and while the sound is identical to the Norwegian edition, the Angel Air version has far better sleevenotes, plus Dicken's own comments to all the songs. More info!

[11 January 2004] Broken Home - "Life" - remastered with 8 bonus tracks! In August 2003, Universal Music in Norway released an expanded and digitally remastered edition of "Life". Eight songs from the "Rainbow Bridge" CD, plus the 1986 "Solid Gold" single were added to the original tracklisting (the "Solid Gold" single was also included on the CD edition released in 2000). "Life" and "Rainbow Bridge" have never sounded this good! Note that the Norwegian pressing is only sold in Scandinavia, but Angel Air will make it available for the rest of the world in February 2004.

Dicken is seeing John Burnip and Eddie Carter regularly and they are thinking seriously of doing something under the name Mr Big again, with two drummers and all.... maybe some gigs and some recording.... and they hope to get Pete Crowther on board as well. Dicken has also been working with Paul Gibbons, who wants to do an album with him.

[05 January 2004] Soldiers Of Fortune - Pete Barnacle's new band! Soldiers Of Fortune is a four piece hard rock band based in Okayama, Japan. They formed in 2001, and are now making their debut cd, which is made up of 10 original songs and covers of two songs by the excellent 70's band "Stray Dog". Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Girl, Gillan, Spear of Destiny and Broken Home drummer Pete Barnacle is a founder member, and wrote or co-wrote all of the original songs. They aim to release their CD in early 2004, in the meantime, samples of rough working mixes are available on their website, http://sof-web.info/index.html.
